At your introductory consultation, Dentist of Cerritos will help you feel comfortable. If you have specific concerns or requests, be sure to let us know. We treat each patient with a uniquely tailored and personalized approach. You will get to meet the Dentist of Cerritos team and get acquainted with our office. We will review your dental history, perform a routine dental exam, take digital x-rays, and create an individualized treatment plan.
During your dental exam, we will assess your oral health and check for signs of gingivitis, periodontal disease, oral cancer, and other issues. In addition, our experienced dental hygienist will gently remove any plaque and tartar from your teeth during your dental cleaning.
Dentist of Cerritos has several experienced general dentists on staff, including Dr. Omid and Dr. Hamid. Dr. Hamid is also a trained orthodontist and acquainted with the latest methods of straightening teeth, including traditional metal braces, porcelain ceramic braces, and Invisalign® aligners.
There are several items you can bring to help streamline your first visit to Dentist of Cerritos. For example, if you have dental insurance, you can bring your card, and if you are under 18 years of age, you can bring a parent or legal guardian to your first visit. A list of medications you are on is also helpful for our team, as well as any information concerning your dental and medical history.
If you happen to have dental x-rays from the past six months, these are helpful as well, though certainly not required. Dentist of Cerritos will also take digital x-rays at your first visit to help us assess your oral health.
If you have dental insurance, they might cover some or all of the cost of your first visit. Many dental insurance plans cover annual dental exams and cleanings.
